Need to add a bit of colour. This thread is so 2011.

Last time they had injuries it gave Ole at the square wheel and excuse to park the bus. Not sure if injuries to those two is a good thing for us.

De Gea is a loss for them, bit gutted we won't see Wijnaldum running rings around a stationary Pogba stood pointing at where he wanted his teammates to pass the ball.

Going back and checking the OP I realised I missed off Bobby Duncan. The move isn't working out too well for him so far as he's only appeared for the Fiorentina u19s. Similar for Camacho who has played 3 minutes across 2 games this season for Sporting.

Is it a case of young players being nowhere near as good as they think they are or would they have got more minutes with us had they stayed? Camacho would surely have started the league cup game for example...

I think it's a shame they won't have pogba on, hes awful. Would have turned over posession to us a LOT

Fred Dibnah would be better.

I suspect they'll come flying out the gates...we should just hold them off until they lose all hope and then annihilate them.

It'll be a tough game but we have better players than them in every position currently so should be favourites even at OT.

It's a rivalry though...all that shiiit don't really matter.

I mean, having better players than the opposition and a better manager does tend to play a part in the results of football matches...

Not always.

Think this is where mentality should have changed by now - we're on a 17 win run, they're potentially going to be around the bottom half and have their two best players missing.

We should be more confident going into this

I'd love us to blitz them in the first 10. Like we did to arsenal under rodgers.

Dreading this game.

Always do.

Not dreading this at all. I live in Manchester and I can sense the fear in the mancs. They will take a 3 nil loss now.

expect utd to really be up for this one, taking points off us would be massive for them, suspect theyll play the best they have all season

posted on 17/10/19

I'm dreading it because it's United at Old Trafford. That's the only reason.

Normally we`d take a draw here and it would be considered a great result, but we all know we cant be dropping points to this United team, they are awful at the moment
