Rumour is Fab is out for 4-6 weeks. Apparently there was too much swelling for a scan yesterday but it doesnt look good. Best midfielder out of our busiest football period.

It happens. Just hope he can stay fit for the rest of the season when he comes back.

One thing we do have is a lot of midfielders. I just hope it is not Lallana playing the Fab role.

Getting a bit worried about December now. This Salzburg game will be no walk in the park. Reckon we will start to feel the rest of the Prem snipping at our heels too.

I get the logic but in this particular instance is it really an an advantage? Others will know more than me I guess.

Fabinho is a miss but I'd expect the likes of Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum and Ox as the players who are likely to be more first choice to come in and see the job through. Had plenty of experience.

Shaqiri, Lallana and Keita should well be capable of doing a job when required as well who I'd expect to be more squad players throughout this period.
