But we all know what they say about a wounded animal.
The problem now is whether Firmino & Fabinho can resist the Brazilian urge to play for the Spanish giants.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Much as I think Bobby is the most important member of the front 3, he’ll be 30 next year, so it’s getting close to the time to cash in and build for the future. I can see Minamino as the kind of player to grow into that role
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be totally honest, I would preferred Hee-chan from that Salzburg side...he looked to have a higher ceiling of the two. Not mad at us signing Minamino though.

Although what you said is right, next year 2021 in October he will be 30
The system has changed as well. The chances are usually created from wide. Firmino dropping deep to link up play isn't as effective or vital as it used to be.
His pressing & positioning in midfield to help the maintain a good defensive shape can never be cast away though. He's still a vital piece in the puzzle.
There's no mystery as to why he hasn't scored at home or even a lot this season as teams sit deeper & deeper. He's always been at his best when the play is opened up.

Firmino's qualities should allow him to play at the top level for many years still. He doesn't rely on pace to begin with.
I don't think our front 3 will be Mane, Salah, Firmino in the 21/22 season.
Andy Carroll would score loads with our full backs
Debatable...our fullbacks whip in crosses...Carroll won't have urge to run onto them...with Carroll, you had to loop the crosses in, so that he could use his height & strength to his advantage.

I think that was a joke within our fanbase lol
Anybody see Sandy's latest article?
He's done his team for the Watford game, putting Tangalangalaga at left back and when questioned on why he's playing a right sided centre back his answer was that he's not playing him at left back, he's playing him more in midfield cause all the left backs are crap, which means it's up to the midfielders to cover that position during the game.

My days Sandy what has happened to you recently? Your coming out with so much nonsense!
Watford have won four of their last five and drawn one, so yes their current form is excellent and a lot better than ours! Purely on FORM they should be fancied to take three points. Don’t dig our gaffer for talking rubbish when it’s sensible and true.
And sorry, you’re suggesting that we don’t play a left back and it’s just ‘Up to the rest of the defence to cover that position if and when needed.’ So we just leave a big hole there and effectively play without any defensive shape or tactics? And that will work yes?
Or are you saying we play three CBs? One of which is Aurier?!
Come on mate, I’ve always really enjoyed your posts and comments but recently you’re just talking so much sheite!

Watford are 4th from bottom, a few wins don`t suddenly turn them into peak Barca. Spurs should be winning this game.

As Pranks points out to the dozy old cant, Watford are in better form, they have won 4 of their last 5 whereas Tottenham have won only one of their last 5
Sandy using the entire seasons results as the barameter to suit his argument that Spurs should be beating the fourth bottom team (they were bottom 5 games ago)
Also Tottenham drew 1-1 at White Hart Lane earlier in the season when Watford were abysmal too, remember when Deulofeu shoulda had a stonewall penalty?
Guy chats so much shiite
Btw Watford around 12/5 looks a great bet btw
