Something happened last night but I was in bed early so not really sure what happened
The site’s hilarious and sad at the minute, watching people implode and lash out because we are so dominant is the funny bit. The sad bit is watching opposition fans make excuses and trying any excuse to proclaim they’re team was so much better when they won the league.
Take 98/99 - United won the league having only won 22 games, drawing 13 & losing 3. 79 pts.
We’ve played 22, won 21, drawn 1 & lost 0. 64 pts.
The leagues not as strong they say, despite the fact that are closest rival have been described as one of if not the best premier league sides ever.
Laughable really.

I'm sure more excuses will come up before the end of the season
Winning with a lower points total implies the League may have been more competitive, but it could also mean our team have evolved and improved at a rate recently that other teams have simply not matched - given the Champions League, Super and World Cup wins I think it's clearly the latter, especially as we were also in the Europa final and Champions League final for the prior two years as well.

Still can't believe Bobby goal was overturned by VAR
There was no foul whatsoever and there was no clear or obvious mistake by the official. Very poor.

VvD jumped into De Gea. It shouldn't be a foul but in the modern game, it is. The fact that he, nor any other Liverpool player complained said it all. The reverse angle shows that there was contact when they both jumped....again, shouldn't be a foul but always will be in today's game. No issue with it being ruled out.

Those two examples were obvious examples and both the wrong decision. The De Gea one for me was a foul. He was gaining control of the ball and VVD didn't get to it but his contact caused De Gea to drop the ball. I'm not 100% on the law here but when you don't get the ball and you make contact with the keeper, causing him to drop it, it's a foul, for me.
I could be wrong but that's how I've always understood it.

Eyes on the ball all the time, jumping without his arms in the air. It is impossible not to touch the other guy when going for a aerial ball but what VVD did was textbook.
He had his eyes on the ball and didn’t even know De Gea was behind him. VVD’s reaction after proves he didn’t know De Gea was also going for the ball.
