I see that plenty of people have become 'outraged' at Klopp's declaration about the replay. Not going to sift through the hundreds of comments across multiple articles to see if anyone else has mentioned it but I quite like Lineker's suggestion for dealing with fixture congestion:
Scrap the League Cup (personally think it could replace the EFL trophy or whatever it's now called)
Start FA Cup earlier so the games are more spread out
Cup games go to penalties after 90 minutes
Lower league sides get to choose whether the tie is home/away when the draw is made
Think that solves a lot of the issues whilst still allowing for money spinning games for lower league clubs who get lucky in the draw.

I been saying for a while that the Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy essentially do the same thing and both run by the same organisation so we don't need both of them
All Klopp has done is highlight how the Premier League,FA and the EFL, (and earlier in the season to a lesser extent UEFA and FIFA also) don't communicate and burden clubs and especially players with excessive games
Rivals should be thanking him for having a voice and making a stand but he seems to be getting criticised in the same way Wenger did back in the day with the same jingoistic "well they knew what it was like here before they came so get on with it" crap

Totally agree with the early Wenger days comparison. Seems like the English game needs a foreign manager to bring in fresh ideas and modernise it every once in a while.
