Just walk incredibly fast whenever you have to do those types of things and they'll soon stop asking you to go with.

I don't mind the speed, it's when there are penguins in front of you waddling side to side so you can't go around them.

also i hate it when 2 people are walking together side by side in the middle of the path and dont move to the side slightly, so now i just end up hitting shoulders with people every other day

it's when you're behind someone who walks at like 90% of your normal pace, which means you can awkwardly take ages to overtake them or drop down your own pace so you don't look like a creep walking right down their neck when they're already walking quite fast.

you have to speed up until you are out of sight

Yeah but you then look like those morons that do that fast walking hip movements in the marathons
