My trying to downplay the situation was definitely partially denial and partially trying to protect my own mental health.

In honestly my mental health with all this has taken a bit of a battering, and starting a new job from home has been incredibly tough. I just felt that I perhaps needed some time away from here to try and focus on more important things.

Despite our differences, I hope you're all keeping safe and here's to football coming back at some point and us finally winning the league!

I had a bit of that like 15 years ago and it wasn’t nice.

I think the biggest mistake I made was getting on to anti depressants for a short while which really didn’t agree with me as they turned me into a zombie.

I know they work for some folk but they stole what little enthusiasm I had about life at the time and rendered me useless.

Once I quit them after a few bad months and got back to normal I appreciated normalcy so much more.

Pills can fack you up, these days tbh I only take any pills unless I’m really quite ill.

Life is my drug now, I know it’s easy to say now but I would never even contemplate a supposed anti depressant/upper ever again.

Pranks, the pills made me worse too, I was persevering with them until the beta blockers made me nearly feint..

Father in law said to stop taking them (GP), I got a book off the NHS reading list and really got it moving.

Had a relapse 4 years ago for two weeks when we got a puppy of all things

I had some prescribed but I never took a single one.

Wanted to know when my head was truly clear and better.. took two years but I know that I'm over the shiiittt I was going through.
