Wij to Barca rumoured. I think he'd be a great fit for them actually.

I honestly wouldn't be angry with him if he left for Barca for last paycheck.
Don't know but I certainly wouldnt hold it against him and I feel it would be one of Barca's more prudent transfers of late imo. In fact their transfer policy has been rammal for a while.
How much you reckon? £45m?

I'm confident Wij will sign a new deal, we need to get it sorted quickly though.
If there was a midfielder Id be willing to let go it'd be him. Might seem harsh to some.
It's really important he stays in my opinion, such a crucial part of our team, our most consistent midfielder along with Hendo and a proper winner with a fantastic mentality.
Fabinho obviously a very good player but his form can sway at times.Ox likewise but a bit injury prone.
Milner is a machine but he's 34 now and it can't go on forever and he doesn't have the legs.
Keita I have absolutely no faith in at all anymore, I expect he will still be treading water in his LFC career this time next year. Lallana and Shaq gone too.
In a summer here we seemingly can't afford to buy anyone it's all the more vital we tie down what we have.
If he goes we'll bring someone in but all fair points Neo.

That's what I read last time. He wants 5 years and we're only offering 3 I think.
I like Wij, he's our most complete midfielder imo and is consistent. Not many lows but not many highs either. I mean even Hendo got pushed further forward and showed more than him in that role. I agree with Hoody, if there's one of the faithful 3 from that midfield that we have to lose, it will be him.
Losing him and Lallana in one window might be a bit much though.

Both. Let's be honest, when he has played, he's hardly set the world alight has he?
He's played well in patches at best. A couple of very good moments in there where you think he might just be starting to do something, but they few and far between and ultimately false dawns.
He's pretty far down the pecking order at the moment and you have to say its justified.
He'll get one more season to prove he has a future here otherwise I expect us to cut our losses this time next year.
