Yeah maybe a bit harsh, fair call. I just don’t see much from that lot that is going to improve us.
I’ve heard decent feedback in here about Buedia but can’t say I’ve ever seen him play, hence me not knowing anything about him.
its not like we're gonna spend big if at all either. i listed what i feel prob their best players, for me Grealish, Buendia, Sarr could offer us something for sure. rest would make alright squad players i guess probably have little impact.
buendia could be a hidden gem in there especially if 20m is rumoured, Grealish even if Villa are relegated prob want 40m+. Sarr cost Watford 30m or so too.
Grealish is an interesting one. Now that villa have a decent chance of survival, it’ll be interesting to see how they play the transfer market. Relegated, he’s on the open market. Still in the Prem and being their star and captain, he’s got a Zaha feel to him. Can’t imagine villa would let him go cheap.
6 months ago he was a great asset. In this climate, keeping him might be worth more than letting him go for whatever he is worth in a deflated market. Selling might not be in villas best interest.
Surely he’ll wanna start games, and I see nowhere in our first XI he gets in.
I think the 3 i mentioned are capable of providing the competition and threat of breaking into it for sure. But regardless of that we play a lot of games rotation alone should be seeing them get 30-40 apps a season.
Downside if Bournemouth go down, who' we gonna offload our players on? starting with Wilson
