Henderson out really has ruined the season for us. Top 4 is gone now. Cannot wait for it to be over.

I'm hoping not having CL football won't make it too hard to recruit players of the right quality, as we've still an excellent team when fit and in form.

Losing not just a top player but a key leader on the field will be a massive blow for likely the remainder of the season.

I don't think it will deter top players from joining or even top players from leaving. I think the club can say that injuries, the season in general etc have played it's part which may be good enough for top players to say "you're right I'll join because you seem to have x, y and z in place to progress".

But next seasons performance is absolutely massive as to who stays, who goes and who comes in.

Agree with this, if it was a normal season and we hadn't had the injuries that we have, then it would be more of a concern. But I think a lot of us realise that when we've got everyone back, and especially when fans are allowed back in the grounds, there's no reason why we can't be right back up there, and I think players both inside and outside the club will see it that way too. It may just come down to whether our targets are happy to sit out the CL for a season, if we don't make it.

We could always just win the CL

Just a fecking disaster of a year for so many differing reasons.

It’s completely insane. It’s almost like someone sold their soul to the devil for us to win the league, and he reneged and it’s Satan’s revenge time.

If anyone is capable of something like that it's Achterberg.

Seems like a reasonable explanation for his form on the pitch, who knows how long he has known for.

I meant in terms of he may have been suffering from a long-term illness and perhaps he found out his Dad's condition was deteriorating a couple of weeks ago which has lead to this.

I hope not for him and his families sake though.

What an awful year. Poor Allison, poor hendo, poor klopp.

Gonna just start looking forward to next season instead.
