Twitter saying we's interested in Gundogan, Loris Karius and Ruben Neves.

Karius is a keeper from Mainz

Gundogan

Never heard of the other two.

Neves is that young Portuguese CM who's meant to be the next big thing isn't he?

Going to be tough one for me when the Euros are on. My family are Irish (North and South) and Welsh.

Just support all the home nations, we probably won't see this many qualify for a tournament again.

Never rated Lewandovski, which probably means we should sign him. He's worked out like Ibrahimovic for me, in that everytime I have watched him, he's been crap and lazy and then when I don't, he bangs in five.

Sturridge, Moreno, Leiva and Coutinho have been told by Jurgen Klopp to cancel their scheduled day off and report for Sunday training.

Day off? What the heck they need a day off for?

And if I was them, I would want to have as much interaction with the new boss as possible.

German teams traditionally have a lot more double training sessions than English clubs.

It caused Magath problems at Fulham as the players got the hump.

In British football they are used to have either the morning or afternoon off.

Quite right too, I don't get the afternoon off

In all seriousness though we were actually surprisingly quite far down the list in terms of most hard working teams in the league. Anything that improves the fitness of the team is good for me, performances have regularly wilted in the last 20 minutes of matches this season. Klopps football will hopefully fix that.

Strange stat that. Us being down the list of hard working teams. I always thought Rodgers held the hard work bit in high regard.

Rodgers had abandoned his principles entirely from what he had brought here in the first place to try to get results to keep him in the job.

Once those principles had gone and the results weren't coming either you knew it was time for him to go.

He panicked basically. I think losing the title a couple of years ago knocked him more we thought.
