Hypocritical to call for his sacking, it's all about opinions and his has more knowledge behind it than many on social media have.

Not going into the rights or wrongs of it as I don't know enough about it but some need to calm down.

If I was Biton, and there was a risk my ain folk might get attacked by rockets from Gaza, yeah sure I'd support my country for protecting them.

And how do think Kayal, an Israeli Palastinian, feels in all this. His ain folk at risk if being attacked by his ain folk.

Desperate situation with neither side either to claim the moral high ground because there is no moral high ground. Nobody respecting the other guy's point of view because they don't believe the other guy is entitled to have a point of view.

A bit like Ireland up till a few years ago really.

Another very balanced and rational zoo.

Desperate times in the Middle East (and elsewhere ). The rights and wrongs of the original reasons for conflict are now so lost in the tït for tat atrocities we are witnessing now.

I get a bit depressed about the way Footy fans adopt 'causes' to twist them to suit thier own personal need for belonging or whatever else reason they use.

Just wish we'd stick to the footy, there's enough going on there to keep us all occupied

This isnt a war, this water pistols v rockets

Its essentially genocide, yes he is from israel but so is kayal and his response tranlslated to "o lord save the children"

Its murder at an acceptable and diabolical level which the western media for some bizarre and frankly twisted reason seem to support.

He can beat it. I cant on one hand say the club shouldn't sign griffiths and then on the other play down support of mass murder

Supporting his people who are running about killing children? Have u seen the pictures curly , this isnt a war its a disgrace.

Plenty of support in israel for humanity as well btw, as also the world over. Its not like every Israeli agrees with this.

Its support for mass murder. If scotland went about killing kids in england u would think its ok cause its your country?

I think the only way this is will ever be sorted is israel going full hog on the Palestinians. If this was a way of gauging the reaction if they did then they would have free reign to do whatever they like.

Biton knows what its like and what the idf are like, brainwashed i'd assume

so basically its ok for celtic players to air their opinion on the middle east conflict if its an anti Israel stance?

sounds about right, not one fakin peep when stokes was on his moral high horse on the same conflict

Keny, if you want to blame anyone for this mess, blame Hamas.

mental how people think Israel should justy sit back and do nothing whilst rockets are fired at their people on a daily basis

to think I was half joking when I mentioned Biton was too Jewy for celtic

Well clear a few things up here first sdf

I put the blame of this at hamas door just as much as i do israel, his people are dying and its his fault as much as the israeli's

You wont see me cutting about parkhead with a palestinian flag so thats wide of the mark.

If palestine were responsible for this death to in israel do u think for a second i wouldnt be outraged?

posted on 18/7/14

the poor innocents in Palestine are the real victims in this as they are being used as a shield by Hamas who kicked off this latest event by kidnapping and executing 3 Israeli teenagers

What do you think Israel should do?

without ever meeting you I know your not one of the crackpots with their Palestine flags at parkhead,

Here's a better idea for Celtic players.

Keep yer political views aff twitter

Celtic fans are getting pelters for airing political views at the stadium during matches........rightly so coz the fitba is no place for them.

Players doing this sets a good example like doesnt it...leave it well alone, yer a fitba player no a fcking diplomat

Israelis are using the iron dome defence, they are well protected by rockets, now this doesn't excuse the actions of Hamas but when you see the footage of men walking around a town and freely beating and killing woman and children its frankly disgusting.

Israel are in no danger, there is a proportional response and a level of humanity to be taken into account and they don't have it.

Biton has been foolish.

So why aren't you? Lobbing rockets is hardly the most neighbourly approach. If your next door neighbour kept lobbing rocks through your window, would you not go round and sort him out?

OK, the level is different, but rockets kill too, you know. In this case they might kill Biton's or Kayal's families.

But you choose the hysterical " running about killing children" nonsense. Who did you say was "brainwashed"?

Fair enough point Ginger but whats Stokes excuse??

posted on 18/7/14

Seriously? People are seriously asking for him to be sacked? Fookin keyboard warrior morons.

Now I can appreciate that folk might have different views on the current Middle East conflict but surely he should be allowed to hold a different point of view without being persecuted or hounded.

Im no supporter of Israel or the Zionist nutters that keep this thing going but Biton is more than welcome to his opinion no matter how wrong it is.
