Today's panel could have considered mitigating circumstances, but the appeal board can't. They can only look at the facts of the original hearing and then only overturn the decision if the reason for making the decision was incorrect.

It's much harder to prove beyond doubt that UEFA's decision was incorrect.

He's not going to get 11 new players in to play his system, so adapt or die. Play to those players strengths dont be so feckin naive. Hes suppose to be an intelligent guy.

If its a long term project he'll have plenty of time to get his side playing his way. If he's not got the players right now, he needs to play to the strengths of the squad, particularly in games of massive importance.

Its not like hes brought in 3/4 players and you can say fine hes building the core of his team and the rest of the pieces will come together. Hes working with last season squad minus one or two players play to their strengths.

He has a whole season of SPL football to implement his style
