For a striker of his ability that would be a great deal and if it didn't work out we haven't spent 50 plus million finding out.

Thing is, even though Suarez was fecking mental and bit players, he nearly always performed to an incredibly high level.

Mario has a habit of sulking/not giving %100 effort. Theres a lack of consistency in which Mario is going to turn up.

If Rodgers can sort him out and get him playing to his peak consistently then he has all the attributes to be one of the worlds best strikers.

But can he do it?

Well, we all know what will happen, BR and LFC will turn him around, they will work on his mentality he will have a few storming seasons and Madrid will have stories in the Marca about him and they will buy him of us for 80m.

The only stories you here about Mario Balotelli are negative and funny stories.

Yet he still has this reputation of being World Class ?!?! When has he ever been talked about for doing something world class. he is more of a parody and a joke than a footballer.

His value is decreasing year after year because he simply does not want to play football or be a normal human being.

I wrote an article not so long ago about him being linked with Chelsea and how insane it would be, the guy is a joker...a more high profile Frimpong who does no talking on the pitch.

From what I can recall it was his moodiness on the pitch and bucket loads of yellow and red cards and suspensions that were the problem
