They weren't professional teams. He spent his entire pro career at 1 club.

Totti is a fantastic shout.

Juve players stuck with them after relegation.
Adams could have gone to United in the mid 90s by all accounts.

I dunno why you are trying to make this about Arsenal. It is an article about the best one man club players. I think Totti is in for a shout, along with MLT.

Juventus are Arsenal?

Why shouldn't an Arsenal player be mentioned? He had a chance to leave when Arsenal were mid table, the chance to join the biggest team in the country that were winning everything.
But he showed loyalty and was rewarded.

Stuart Pearce. Don't like the man as a manager and the fact that he left Beckham out of the Olympic squad despite what goldenbaws did to help the bid but can't deny he stayed at Forest when he should have left. Like le tiss in a sense except he did get to play w/c and e/c with his country.

Stuart Pearce played for about 6 clubs.

Pearce played for Newcastle, West Ham and Man City after he left Forest

He left Forest after they were relegated from the Premier League and signed for Newcastle at a time when they had just finished second in the Premier League behind Man Utd.

You cant honestly say the man was a one club man when he left Forest to go to a club like that......if it was a step down aye, it wasnt

Ian Durrant?

Paul McStay?

John Greig?

Billy McNeill?

Only one team for these guys....

Very true and stand corrected on Pearce although his best years were spent at Forest and that was when he could have joined a real top club.

Puyol? Barcelona were at one of their lowest points in the modern era and he emerged to become the most successful captain the club ever had

Totally agree

In Southampton recently, on the day they twonked Sunderland, I noticed several people wearing all red Southampton shirts, that I presumed was a training top or similar, as your shirt has, as long as I can remember, been red with one or more white stripes.

Of course as you already know, that's your home shirt this season, so why no stripes?

And why have the number of stripes, meaning the width of them also, varied so much over the years?
