Klopp to Liverpool.

Liverpool FC is a good project. Top training facilities, a stadium expansion, great youth set up, money to spend and a seemingly stable ownership that backs their managers plus a loyal support.

History, tradition and culture add to that and Klopp strikes me as a man of integrity who may value a challenge such as returning a big club to the top.

I think Klopp would be nuts to come to Liverpool

we've tried to sign bigger players and they all told us to fœk ourselves

we have the squad we do not because we didn't try to sign better (we did, a lot of players), it's because we're a 3rd tier club and this is our market.

under FFP Arsenal and Manu are the big winners so if Klopp came to Liverpool he'd have to queue up behind those 2 for players as well as City and Chelsea and Barca and Bayern and PSG and Juve and Monaco Real madrid take their picks of players.

It's not a good job in reality.

What a load of bollox.

Liverpool is a big club where he could earn millions. We give our managers so much money to spend it's nuts. That is not a bad job which ever way you slice it. Pull yourself together.

Our wage structure under FSG is a limiting factor I think.

My bet is other clubs easily trump our performance related contracts, which make us a less attractive proposition for players in their prime wanting to earn as much as they can. The attraction of London (God knows why) appeals to some players and their families too.

I would like to see other players coming in, but the reality is that Rodgers will have to sell to buy. Ship Balotelli out and get a striker in is about the extent of my optimism at the moment for the January window.

It's just a bad run we're in. It will turn round at some point - the squad has the potential for top 4.

Confidence is the key. Too many wishful thinkers from rival clubs who can't wait to stick the boot in.

Klopp? No ta.

Definitely No Klopp at Kop.

I'm right behind BR, but American businessmen aren't known for their patience if they feel they aren't getting value for money.

I wouldn't be surprised if contingency plans are in effect for the end of the season. Feelers put out to see if there is any interest come the summer, if performances and results don't improve.

It's certainly feasible that the club has or will be be in contact with Klippity, behind the scenes.

Results have been poor, but it;s the dire performance level which concerns me. If that were to continue and we keep on losing games then BR is on a very sticky wicket. I want the club to show a bit of patience, but they didn't with Kenny and he won us a trophy, reached the FA Cup final and was doing better in the league than BR is this season. I think this current predicament will tell us a whole lot about our manager, but our owners too. If we don't win on Wednesday and continue to falter in the league what will FSG do?

This is BR's first big test at Liverpool. He needs to sort this mess and quickly. I hope he does, and believe he can, but the signings he has made need to start producing, because managers live and die with the quality of player they bring into a club. So far in this regard he has been found wanting, or the committee has, but given he's the manager he will carry the can regardless.
