Lustig has had something like 5 assists in 2 seasons compare to izzys 16 odd. lustig is a cracking athlete izzy is the better player.
This season so far I think he has had 4 assists in total keny. How many has lustig had...1.
Stats mean nothing really and can be twisted to suit , judge a player on what you see in him
what difference how many assists either player had ?
That player requires someone else to stick the ball in the net for him in order to gain the assist so its all relative
For example , izzy should have had 2 assists for last night alone
my point is CT for the amount of crosses izzy puts in a game, and im saying minimum 5 or 6 he should probably have more assist.
does that come to him or the strikers? bit of both.

Easy way to measure their contribution.
Good players at celtic get stick despite contributing a lit to the club. Guys like izzy and commons are stand outs. Guys like lustig who are in terms of talent average get lauded as top quality because they have a cool mustache.

But there are too many factors involved for it to be as cut and dried as that
keepers making saves and positioning
defenders positioning and if they are likely to win the header or not
Strikers execution
Lucky bounces ..etc etc
Commons is standing out for all the wrong reasons this season Chu
Talking about over all contribution to the club. We've more than got our moneys worth out of commons.
