Some good games there.
Whitlock v Webster
Wade v Lewis
Thornton v Gilding
VdVoort v Henserson
Smith v Ronny H.
Klassen v Kist,
Will the prediction game be same as last year?
I would guess the basics will be the same.
People are too busy to make round by round predictions, I think.
Thinking about adding a couple of things.
Maybe a wildcard, where you pick someone from the pre-Lims and get performance based points (say 5pts for winning pre-lim, then 10 for every set he wins in main draw, plus more if he wins a game)
A joker, where you pick someone from outside the top 32 and get double the points for him throughout the comp.
Things like that. Open to suggestions.

Dave Chisnall (8) v Ryan De Vreede
Take a sip of weak lager every time a commentator say "Chizzy!" and you'll be paraletic at the end of the game.
Would a straight forward prediction be better? Where you have to stick with your predictions all the way through.
What do you mean?
It will be similar as last year.
Thinking of
Pick 10 for second round
10 for Last 32
8 quarter finalists
4 semi
Runner up
Winner
At start, as well as possibly the wildcard and/or joker.
Points would be the seed, with multiples as you go along.
Well if you pick a player eg Jyhan Artut to beat Taylor, you can't pick Taylor in the later rounds.
Oh. Would possibly take out the risk / reward, end up with loads of similar predictions?
Possibly but it might make people study it a bit more than just putting all the high ranked players through.
How about something along the lines of fantasy football?
You choose a certain number of players from pre-ordained groups and get points based on the performance of your 'squad'
So it may be pick one from the top four, two from the next 8, three from 11- 32, a couple of underdogs and one from the qualifiers.
Then you get certain points for certain achievements. Say a win is worth so many points, an underdog win worth a bonus, average over 100, a nine darter... Things like that?

Yeah, am thinking that!
Don't want to scare people off with over complications either.
Looking forward to this tournament, love it every year at Christmas.
You going to be predicting this year?
Put my idea for the game up. Any thoughts, corrections, hatred.... please tell me!!
If I remember to predict, then yes! Where is the link?
