Nice one, suppose Saints don't score many.

Arsenal should win, but the value bet could be the draw at around 3/1. Southampton have drawn 5 out of 8 home games, and Arsenal 2 out of last four away.

Also half time draw at around 2.3 could be worth a go.

I think Real Betis at 33/1 are a value each way bet for the Europa, over 16/1 just to reach final

They have a decent defence (kept 14 clean sheets this season in all comps) and only recently won 4-3 at Barcelona and look a good outside bet

I have seen much worse bets (many being my own)

My outside bet is Salzburg, only 25's though. Was impressed how dominant they were against Leipzig and then Celtic away which can be a difficult away game, especially given they had something to play for.

Yeah I like Salzburg too, very unlucky to be beaten by Marseilles in last seasons semi final I recall

It was a toss up between them and Betis in the value stakes but I went for a Spanish team as they basically dominate in Europe and wont be as fancied as much as Sevilla,Villarreal or Valencia despite being as good if not better than them all

Just looked at their run and they beat some good teams in the knockouts. Dortmund, Sociedad and Lazio. Extra time semi exit so as you say unlucky one.

Betis do look good and have the 4-3 win at Barca on their record this season. They let me down on Thursday though for an over 1.5 bet

Mate has told me to back Dominic Solanke to sign for Huddersfield (Jan transfer window). He has $60 on at 7/2 on Skybet. Price now down to 2/1. I'm assuming loan deals count.

Victor are 3/1 but not sure if it has to be permanent or not?

It's a long term bet and defenders rarely win individual awards but Van Dijk is 16/1 for PFA player of the year on bet365 which I think is incredible value, particularly if Liverpool carry on as they have started...

Guy that works at William Hill told me something I never knew,he said his pal had £10 at 50/1 that Solksjaer would be next permanent manager at Manchester United and when you bet on that market a interim manager is considered permanent if they are there for 10 games
