It goes against the norm. The uncertainty behind it all makes it gripping. Slow burner but in depth world. There needs to be more game of thrones in this world and less only way is Essex.

I used to love GoT but like Forza has pointed out, it has lost most of what made it enjoyable. Does anyone even like any of the characters left?

I am not saying it to be controversial. I sat through the last couple of seasons with the feeling that something great might happen, or character x might be awesome only for nothing to really happen of not that i cRed about and decent characters to die.

Its just my personal opinion that after a couple of really great seasons its sort of going through the motions and following the formula which made it great but is now dull.

I wanted to love it and did for a while but its just not on for me anymore. I gave it a chance and they have the worst dragons ever.

I watch and enjoy it but don't go nuts about it the way some people do.

I like the way character position themselves for power and underhanded nature of it all but agree it can be a touch slow paced at times. However, when it comes to life it's fantastic. I'd say it's one of those shows that when it's good, it's very, very good.

Have to sky plus it though, can't deal with the number of advert breaks they have!

Recorded it, not seen last nights yet, so not reading comments! But I love it, one of the best things on tv, ever......

One program that has lost its appeal imo is Walking Dead. Thought it was excellent and compulsive viewing for the first several seasons, but the last few seem to be really going through the motions. Time to wrap it up, me thinks.....

Sup Herps? I agree about the walking dead. Its just more of the same but I cant stop watching it. Ive invested to much into these characters and will watch it to the end regardless of how predictable and sometimes ridiculous it gets.

I think GOT is great.

According to a friend who has read the books though this next series is from a weaker book than the last few series.

Be interesting to see if it TV goes the same way.

Walking Dead needs a conclusion, not sure it will get one though.

They are already making series 6, and a spin off too. Cash cow.

Watched the first 4 leaked episodes of S5 last week...fantastic series.

The storyline is out running the books, but I understand that George Martin is OK with this as he like the way the producers of the show are taking the story.
