Deadpool was overrated. In fact I enjoyed Batman the Lego movie more. Much better humour

Really? It felt like Ryan Reynolds with a mask and nothing more. The talking to the camera and speaking about himself as an actor completely took me out of it at times. I doubt that's part of the comics.

And I get comic fans wanting films based on them to be as close as possible. But it doesn't translate well all the time.

Him speaking to the camera and the audience is exactly what he does in the comics

People will have there own take but Deadpools reception has been positive across the board and that's taking into account just how vicious comic book fans can be.

Oh and the fact that it was the first R rated superhero movie and has opened the door for every other movie like Logan has to be applauded.

If Deadpool was a real life person im pretty certain that person would be called Ryan Reynolds.......so yeh thats why deadpool feels like Ryan Reynolds in a mask

Deadpool was great fun, really worked as an 18 too and hopefully leads onto others like it has with Logan.

They absolutely nailed the character of Deadpool too, Reynolds was perfect for it and the 4th wall bits were spot on too.

I wouldn't put it up there as a masterpiece movie though as the main villain was pure garbage, terrible acting and just never seemed threatening. The story wasn't the best either but luckily the main draw for he film was Deadpool himself, and it didn't disappoint in that respect.

I couldn't get into Deadpool!

Saw it last night too. Interesting premise imo but acting could have been alot better. Liked Daniel Kaluuya (spelling?) though

Finally got round to watching Rogue One and really enjoyed it. As someone who didn't like Force Awakens at all Rogue One is the sort of Star Wars movie I've been waiting years for them to do and it really delivered on many levels.

Whereas Force Awakens felt like a safe bet corporate movie solely designed to make money this one felt like a movie made by people that really understood and cared for the property.........albeit to also make money
