Bale was in very good Batman movies, not sure that makes him a very good onscreen Batman though. Not saying he was bad though.

The Accountant is very entertaining although it felt like a comic book movie in some ways so if you're looking to get away from that genre then not sure that's the best movie to see.

oh Guv?! it's Spidey! he has some great villians that can rival DC.
Venom and Carnage!! Especially if they make an R-rated venom film.. Doc O and the like...
Spider-man when done right is just as big as Batman and Superman.
This is a reboot but not a origin story, so we will see what happens... so far looking good, going by the trailer.

Spidey has always been my favourite, and you are right about S3.. absolute stinker!
And for Raimi of all people, to not give a damn about Venom, when hes the guy that did Evil Dead, i was almost in tears!
Of all of these comic book movies, Spidey, Venom and the legends you just listed deserve better.

Yeah, i'm not too sure either why Sony are going to do their own thing with Venom. it's starting to get really confusing....
but an R-Rated Venom film?! ok ok, just take my damn money, i'm there!!!

Apparently the idea behind 'Vulture' is Keaton has gone into business for himself, where he cleans up the mess in the city after the Superhero battles.
sometype of Scrapyard merchant...
A vulture if you will...
Stark moves in on his business, and so he obviously becomes disgruntled and along with 'The Tinkerman', create Vultures suit out of the scraps keaton has picked up over the years....

nice, it works for me...

I get that the older Batman character is probably more interesting. Dark Knight Rises was the comparable Batman portrayal and i thought it was Bale's worst outing.

He is the better actor though imo

Yeah Bale undoubtedly the better actor, you only have to watch his performance as Dicky Eklund in The Fighter to see that. Absolutely fantastic.

Affleck is the more convincing Bats though imo for several reasons, he just looks the part and is the right size. Always thought that Bale was just too scrawny to be a convincing Bruce Wayne who's meant to be a well built 6"2+.

If I was a Spidey fanboy (I'm not) then I'd be really concerned and suspicious about Sony building up this universe of Spidey characters totally independent of the MCU. Especially with the recent hint that Sony might take Spidey back after the Homecoming sequel.

I've always been a fan of Superhero movies, but I feel recently they have been squeezing every drop.

So if the Accountant is a bit like what you say, then hopefully I appreciate its originality in the same way I appreciated Unbreakable!
