Just wait for JW3, assuming based on the ending of the second it will be like number 2 on drugs.

Worldwide contract, he's got to kill everyone in the world now before he can finally chill out back home

I preferred it when he fought over his dog

Dial M For Murder (1954)
Another classy intelligent murder mystery from Hitchcock.

Maniac Cop (1988) (Re-watch)

As is the case with cult films, especially with regards to horror/slasher projects, you always have to be open to accept the ridiculousness of it all.And in doing so you're usually treated with a product which is cynical, nasty,(contemporary) satirical and humorously violent, whether the humor is intentional is most times up for debate.

Still, a film that comprises of cult movie stars such as Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) and Robert Z'Dar (Samurai Cop) ,with the occasional guest appearance from Evil Dead and Spiderman Director Sam Raimi, makes this film a definite watch for people/fans who have a steeped interest in all things cult.

★★★

Alien Covenant felt more like the Michael Fassbender show (and I like Fassbender). Certainly not bad by any means and very well shot as you would have expected from a Ridley Scott movie. But the movie undoubtedly has issues, without going into spoiler territory.

Found Life to be more enjoyable than Alien Covenant. Quite similar movies in many respects.

Saw Wonder Woman.... Good film.
Finally Batman is having the weight lifted off his shoulders... get Man of Steel 2 right, and Warners will have a bona fide Holy Trinity.

Thought Wonderwoman was very good - one of the better superhero films around for me. I thought Gal Gadot was brilliant too, really endeared the character to me while making her a badass at the same time. Seen people moaning about it being sexist, personally think that's a ridiculous call but there you go.

Watching Pork Pie last night, found it a really fun watch. Not as good as Hunt for the Wilderpeople but for me really fun to go back on a tour of NZ and especially seeing car chase scenes outside our old flat in Wellington

The Bag -That was my concern going to watch it, after the debacle of Ghostbusters 2016, and then the bruhaha over a woman only screening of WW.
But then i watched it, and was pleasently surprised.
There might be the odd joke or two, but no hint of sexism and also no beating down of men and no political rubbish. Its for everyone.
Gadot is Wonder Woman - This was just a really well done, good film.
sure i got gripes but are very minimal.
I've been a very harsh critic of Warner Bros and their knee-jerking, but gotta give them their dues.
They nailed it with this film.

I'd agree with all of that. I've seen people moaning that it's sexist because she has a love interest, but that's rubbish - he's besotted with her from the start, not the other way round. I feel like some feminists are so ridiculous they make people go the other way.

Good to hear that WW is good and it bodes well for Justice League. Also rubbishes those earlier reports that both WW and Justice League were a mess in preproduction.

I wouldn't recommend Assassin's Creed to anyone. Load of cobblers and I'm a fan of the games.

I've still barely played Black Flag. Found it quite difficult for some reason.
