I love Batman Begins.. more than i do Dark Knight. As i said, Warner Bros have a lot to be proud of. The fanbase is there. it is because these properties are so beloved.
Disney/Marvel had a sort of blank canvas, and have executed brilliantly.
The Russo Bros for me are legit! Captain Americas trilogy is the best Marvel has done so far.
got a real bad feeling Justice league about to get trounced at the B.O by 'CoCo' ..
The buzz surrounding that film is crazy.
Friends telling me how they balled their eyes out, hailing this as Pixars greatest yet...

I’m watching the eleven on the c&i channel.
All the murders happened in the late 70’s between clear lake and Galveston tx, I grew up in clear lake and Galveston was my local beach.
All the victims were young girls 13-15, many of them surfers.
One geezer was convicted of one of the murders and died in prison after 28 years but always claimed he was set up, he was even told he would be paroled at a hearing if he confirmed he did it, but he wouldn’t so stayed inside.
It turns out the the cops who got his confession were dirty and he is most likely innocent.<sad>
There’s also a guy who has claimed in letters he is responsible however is now backtracking as he’s currently coming up for parole.
Standard show but an interesting watch.
Sounds interesting. I've started watching Mindhunter on Netflix. All about the origins of the FBI's dealing with serial killers. Quite slow to start but very well made as you'd expect from David Fincher.
It’s a bit of a slow burner however this guy who confessed in a letter giving details and locations is a deviant and looks very good as a suspect.

Get Out (2017) Director : Jordan Peele
"Get out, man. Get out ! "
A enjoyable, black humoured, racially charged physiological horror with a loving nod to its horror genre tropes and with a few little novelties thrown in.
★★★

Good watch this was
It's one of those films where you feel you are watching the screenplay unfold in the familiar over the top violent thirdact rather than the film itself.
As I said its a trope of horror and action films but you do get a sense of the writer gradually running out of ideas in how to close off this film.
Still a entertaining watch with some great cinematic shots,also helps massively that you believe the characters which can be a issue regarding horror films.

Johnny Guiter (1945) Director : Nicholas Ray
Joan Crawford as Vienna dominates the screen, alongside the tall wandering figure of Sterling Hayden ( Dr Strangelove) as Johnny 'guitar' Logan, in this classic western drama about the tension between Crawford’s Vienna, a saloonkeeper, and the locals who are strongly opposed ,not only with the crooked business she keeps with the The Dancin' Kid gang , but also the potential renovation of the towns new railroad
Battling against Crawford's protagonist is Emma, played viciously twisted by the excellent Mercedes McCambridge, as the films main antagonist.
A character that would make even today’s live action villains look like mere p*ssycats in comparison.
With the direction by Nicholas Ray (Rebel Without a Cause) we witness his great handling of character, sets and a narrative that flows by with confidence, intrigue and interest about the small little solitary area of a this Arizona cattle town .
★★★★
The film also has some great lines.
Vienna " Down there I sell whiskey and cards. All you can buy up these stairs is a bullet in the head. Now which do you want? "
========================================
Dancin' Kid "How did it feel with that rope around your neck, Vienna?"
Vienna"[Sarcastically] Try it sometime. "
========================================
Johnny " There's only two things in this world that a 'real man' needs: a cup of coffee and a good smoke."
Watched Justice League today and really enjoyed it. Not perfect by any means but as a comic book movie was very entertaining.
After Wonder Woman and Justice League I think that the DCEU has shaped up quite nicely this year after the disappointment that was Suicide Squad.
Can't say I'm hugely interested in an Aquaman solo movie or a Cyborg one though. Hopefully Green Lantern and the corps gets brought into the Justice League sequel.
