Yeah, the story was really well told and rounded off in one series. Obviously they could squeeze a second series out of it but hope they don't. A spinoff with all different characters might work but hopefully they leave it be.

Watched The Darkest Hour last night. Ironic seeing as Chelsea are about to buy Andy Carroll but I digress. A good film that had me gripped, mainly by an excellent performance from Gary Oldman. My only slight gripe was that he looked more like Alfred Hitchcock than Winston Churchill I thought but that's just nitpicking.

The file won't be for everyone but I thought it was excellent, I got the feeling I'd be bored before hand but it was entertaining and Oldman was very good as Churchill.

Next up Thursday, Three Billboards

True Detective season 3 details have been released. Apparently set in the Ozarks, they're looking to take it back to the style of season 1.

Watched the newest of the Insedious franchise on Wednesday, my Mrs likes that kind of film.

Was garbage. I’ve only seen the first one (think this was the 4th) but could pick up the story okay. The horror/jump scare theme is so finished, was just trash with bad acting too.

Watching Brittannia....mainly for Kelly Reilly...but we'll give it a go

Sheriff I saw Idiocracy a few years ago, was very silly. Probably not far off how society is heading though.

Mike I pretty much stopped watching horrors a few years back because of over reliance on jump scares and poor cgi. A truly scary movie makes you think about it during and well after seeing it.

Just watched Valerian.

A visually appealing movie but lacked substance and the two main leads had about as much chemistry as two pebbles.
