Tried getting into The Wire a few years ago and just found it a bit bleak and depressing.

Maybe I'm missing something as so many people keep saying how brilliant it is.

Superb
The Wire is incredible!! It may be bleak but everything about it is in a class of its own. The dialogue, character development, and execution of themes just destroys every other TV show out there. Not everything is bleak though, there are a few positives. Mind you, I also complained about how cynical it was the first time I watched it.

Game of Thrones this week was probably the best GOT episode ever.

Frankie........

I'd love to see a proper 'wrap up' episode of Goodnight Sweetheart.

Because the show got pulled sooner than Marks n Gran were expecting, the last series was rushed.

And that was a shame because i dont think, from people that worked on the show they intended on leaving one of the main supporting characters down on his luck.....

McNulty-WTF did I do?
Bubbles-
Poot
Bunk
Rawls-RRRRROOOOAAAARRRLLLZZZ

plus at least a dozen more just as good tbh (Frank Sobotka, The Greek, Clay Davis, Jay, Omar, Kennard, Snoop, Michael, Avon, Slim James, Lester, Herc, Carver, Randy, Colver etc etc etc

there were ni 'bad' characters but characters I did not like;

Stringer Bell
Templeton
Namond
Ziggy
the newspaper owner

ffs you like Kennard? And Herc? Will never forgive him for......

SPOILER ALERT

...what happened to Randy. "You gonna look out for me? You gonna to look out for me Agent Carver? You promise?!" Mine I cried buckets during this scene

yer, Kennard n Herc may be bad people but they were good characters

the actor who played Carcetti (pronounced Carsetti btw, not Carketti-that annoyed me) with the way he speaks, so unrealistic, same with his character in GoT-Smallfinger I think it is.
