Biggish I thought that Daredevil was really good and as you say quite shockingly violent at times.
It certainly doesn't blend well with all the other Marvel stuff even though it's supposedly set in the same world.
Last episode of series 1 is very good, just wants you wanting more. Definitely better than Gotham as well which is very hit and miss.

You should definitely rewatch it. You will not believe how much stuff you missed the first time round. Some of those scenes are even more devastating when you rewatch the show. First time of watching, too much attention is usually on the plot.

Just downloaded Daredevil and will give it a watch this weekend

In general me too, the trailer for the new Supergirl tv show looks just awful. Looks like a spoof.
Having said that Daredevil has shown that you can make really good comic book tv shows and I suspect we'll see more in that same vein. I'm hoping for a Punisher tv show.
I can't help it, as someone who dined out on marvel comics in the 70s, i love seeing all the characters being brought to life on the screen.

If so there's a new "rebooted" and supposedly darker Fantastic Four movie coming out this summer

Comics Book adaptations
Daredevil is amazing, flash is really good, arrow was good for the first 2 seasons, 3rd is not so good. Gotham is ok, shield is watcahable but i didnt find i wanted to watch it every week. Agent carter is better than Shields which i find is the worst comic book one.
Other Stuff:
Also as others have said Castle is really good light hearted watching. Walking dead has been up and down, and GoT as well i cant say that i have watched that much, books are much better. Love Vikings really really good. Started watching Wayward Pines which isnt bad, seems interesting. Also Elementary is good, really enjoy that. And a nice british one is the Musketeers just finished on Netflix. AH and after 10 years i am finishing off Lost.

yes i am...they were so dissapointing..
Yeah they were utter pi'sh in truth. The only thing I slightly liked about them was the Silver Surfer.
The new version looks promising if the trailer is anything to go by.
Avengers I wasnt that impressed with, great, great fight scenes terrible overall story, didnt come out the cinema that impressed.

Winter Soldier is the only good one that's come out of the MCU recently.

Iron Man 3 was utter tripe, and I'm a huge fan of the first (and lesser extent second) Iron Man film. Don't understand why everyone seemed to like it. Thor 2 was alright, just a standard Marvel film.
I thought the new Avengers was good. It was hampered in that it had soooo much hype which it could never live up to but overall it was a fun, interesting film. Not amazing but pretty good. Certainly worth watching.
Am looking forward to seeing what DC have got in store in the next few years. Not sure about Ben Affleck as Batman though...

You should definitely rewatch it. You will not believe how much stuff you missed the first time round. Some of those scenes are even more devastating when you rewatch the show. First time of watching, too much attention is usually on the plot.
