Yeah The Gift is a brilliant finale, has a lot going for it besides the main thing. Giles' scene might be my pick tbh, most metaphorical 'fatherly' thing he did for her

Adam was a literal & figurative mess indeed. I dunno why the writers thought having a villain who was "The Terminator without the charm" would be appealing

And it is enjoyable, very silly, but enjoyable.

I think it's because Zac Snyder is lauded as a great director, and his films are all crap.

They're not all crap. Some are decent.

Dawn of the Dead and 300 were decent to be fair, but they aren't great movies.

Personally, I don't believe he has earned the rep or budgets he receives.

Movies are all down to opinion though

I'm not saying he's an amazing director, but he has made some watchable films imo. And yes, plenty of crap too.

I think he's done some fun movies. He does polarise opinion though for reasons I haven't quite yet worked out as he seems like a good guy.
