Been getting my interest whenever I've seen a trailer and it's out now.
Anyone seen it yet?
Someone needs to explain the last shot in The Duelists to me.
But I remember becoming more and more engaged in the film. Attention to detail is amazing. Performances are brilliant. Didn’t think I’d like it. Ridley was a Don at somepoint.

Its a sort of a cinematic recreation of a painting of Napoleon in exile with Keitel’s character representing Napoleon
I saw a comment about the film saying the whole movie is like looking at a moving painting and that was no doubt the aim
ffs if I wanted to look at a painting all evening I'd go to an art gallery.
I haven’t seen it in years, but while it felt very real, cos of the way it’s shot. it took me back to those school journey days. Those excursions you had no interest in.
Suddenly you’re at some museum.
It was like all those pictures/paintings come to life.
I'm going to have to watch The Duellists then, one of those movies that's passed me by for whatever reason. Very high Rotten Tomatoes score as well. A whopping 92%.
