With Falcao already gone and now RVP confirmed to be off imminently.........we must be absolutely cast iron sure of securing a striker in the very near future. We simply have to be.
Even with his high wages and injury issues, letting RVP leave in addition to Falcao with nobody else lined up would be farcical, even for us.
Wonder who it is......Kane, Benteke, Lacazette are the front runners. And likes of Berahino and the longest long shot in the world (Muller) being the others.
Really starting to get nervy now though with DDG almost gone too and rumours ADM could be off as well. Too much change isn't a good thing.
LVG might surprise you and not sign a striker. We have Rooney, Wilson and Hernandez. Possibly for just one spot. Then we have Depay, Di Maria and Fellini as options. Didn't LVG even try Adnan up top/talk about it?
Wouldn't mind betting he'll use Felé up front if needed. He played there 2nd half v WBA. He played his part last season and is a decent option if we need to go long.
Felliani as a forward again Did anybody watch us against Chelsea, Everton and WBA? That strategy was found out after 3 matches. Once we were rumbled we didn't score for three games on the trot!
Another forward must be lined up, it makes no sense getting rid of everyone and hoping Rooney stays fit all season long.
