Used to see them play round Liverpool when they first started out. There used to be another band similiar to them called Dr Phibes but the lead guitarist/singer got messed up on drugs and killed his Ma.
Worst thing to happen to Verve was Urban Hymns
Overall a weak album that sold to Oasis fans.
Best thing they did was northern soul followed by the no come down collection.
