I find these spree shootings really weird. There are other countries where guns are legal and you don't see people suddenly losing their minds and going on these rampages there. Certainly not with anywhere near the frequency you see in the US anyway.
USA is full of crazy people - I live here so I know
I live in Afghanistan, having a gun in the house is as important as having windows in winter. Even with all he war and stuff there hasn't been a single shooting spree like in U.S. , with the same Motives and all. For peaceful societies like USA I don't see any reason for people to have guns. You have powerful enough police, FBI , intelligence and army. For me the way to stop mass shootings is the penalty you give to its purpotrators .

I do find it hilarious that a country as 'forward thinking' as America, finds the solution to stop gun-crime regardless of it's frequency, is more guns.

Hurricane Florence approaches and everyone's heard of it.
'Super' typhoon Trami approaches and you likely haven't heard of it
Same applies to shootings outside of the US, media doesn't care about shootings outside the US so much
Florence has been a complete mess though - it took out almost every oak tree in town
I reckon if guns were legal in the UK there would be some dead Extinction rebellion people lying around London right now
