Disney should stay well away from the sequels and anything connected to them....

Ok just seen episode 4 of Book of Boba.

Overall, I thought it was an improvement on the previous episode. I liked seeing how Boba found Fennec and they both managed to retrieve Slave 1 from Jabbas palace. The present day events seem to be leading to some sort of war and it looks like Boba is finally recognising that power has to be exerted not just blindly followed. My issues with the episode surround the plot holes and poor story writing. Fennec sent her drone into Jabbas Palace and it searched the whole place, whilst Slave 1 just sat metres away from the front door? I know the plan was to surreptiosly reclaim the Slave 1 but they blew that out of the window when they started shooting people. Another plot hole was Boba's armour. He came out of the pit with his armour on, so why is he going back inside the Sarlaac? Oh and how did he escape, because the pit looks to be just as alive as it used. I felt that whole scene was just a way for them to use the seismic charges. This episode also explained how he wanted to become a gang leader because he was tired of being manipulated by his paymasters. I can accept that but why not plan everything out prior to taking the throne? It all seemed like he was winging it and that doesn't sound like the Boba that we know from the original trilogy.

4 episodes in and this show is currently scoring a 6/10 for m. The last 3 need a significant improvement and I hope they don't just throw in some cameos from other characters in the universe, because that won't save this show.

Watched it last night. Some fantastic parts in that episode. Some damn awful, horrible too. Fckin drum and bass music blasting over some Cyberpunk cut scene. Fck off. Awful. This is supposed to be Star Wars.

Series is setting up for a few good episodes now hopefully. It’s about it time.

That whole scene with the cybernetics parlour was ridiculous. It felt like something from Arnolds total recall.

Yeah the armour thing didn't make sense.

As I suspected, they also seem to have saved their budget for this 2nd half of the season. Seeing Slave 1 look spectacular in the sky was probably the high point of that episode.

I liked the Tuskens involvement in this show but I didn't really feel much, when they were killed. We are supposed to sympathise with Boba and he tells Fennec how they showed him compassion and respect but I seem to recall them kidnapping him and holding him prisoner. If he hasn't saved the kid Tusken, he'd still be a prisoner.

Seriously, they can’t leave the Tuskens story just like that, cos that would be bad.
On the Armour thing.. it’s possible he can’t remember what happened, he was pretty out of it. He doesn’t remember the Jawas robbing him.

Yeh I don't think we're done with the Tuskens yet either, pretty certain they'll have a big part in the war coming up, maybe they will be the Luke in this series.

Also, Fennec’s,throwaway line.. ‘The Riders beat the Tuskens? I don’t think so..’

Some of them must’ve escaped

I think the kid and the woman that trained Boba escaped or were maybe captured?

The only people I can see capturing and killing Tuskens like that, aside from Anakin, is the empire or what's left of it.

Plot twist, the power ranger gang end up being the big bad of the series, with their leader, the master scientist that saved Fennec.

Where the hell did they go… why we seeing random ones in that terrible scene. I mean it just looks like a bit of plastic slapped on.
And what Technology does this place have to save a life. It looks like a tattoo parlour.

Oh yeh, so in Ep 3 Boba gets told of these half human/cybernetic people, like he’s hearing it for the first time.
Then the next Ep, we see that he had encountered these people before.
That was the goof in the Ep, I think I spotted. Am I right?

He replaced most of her stomach with machinery. I was going to bring it up but in my head, I gave it a pass because there are bigger issues I had. It does pose the question though, could they have saved Qui Gon with this sort of tech, since he only got stabbed through the stomach.

The tech probably wasn't advanced but it had to be more advanced than what they have on Tattooine

Qui Gon lost the will to live...

But fennec was still alive, qui gon was....... Gone

It's unfortunate that this show will be relying on Mando to save it.

But even him turning up won’t be enough. This is your show Boba Fett. Own it.

I think people are being way too critical. I have enjoyed it mostly and think Mandalorian was a little overrated as a bench mark.

If Boba came out before Mando, I'd probably be less critical but Mando set a high bar and I didn't necessarily expect the same level from Boba, but something close would have been preferred.

Compare the first 4 episodes of Mando to Boba and I know which ones I'd watch again.

When Obi Wan comes out, I will do the same. It will be pit against the Mandalorian because that's the standard bearer.

It was better, because it was in decline from the high Republic era (due to wars) so still slightly better I guess.

I want more Maul stuff.. until rogue 1 I thought he was a better villain than Vader.
