Nobody is denying what Yoda said but he also told Luke, "If you choose the quick and easy path as Vader did, you will become an agent of evil" . Not only did Luke not become an agent of evil, Vader didn't choose the quick and easy path, the guy was manipulated and emotionally torn.

Just because something was said in the movies, does not mean that it is an absolute. I recall mentions of Midi Chlorians in Episode 1 being a notable example.

To be fair, that’s poor story telling from George.

Same goes with Leia remembering her mother at the end of Jedi.

Fans have been left to conjure up excuses to cover such plot holes - like for example that Leia was having force visions.

As for something being said not being absolute - that doesn’t apply to heavy objects being moved by the Force. That’s an objective truth.

I think what you’re both saying is that whilst what I’m saying is true, it hasn’t been taken to such an extent to date - and thus, would feel over the top (which is fair).

100% getting Disney+ wonder if Hulu will also come here as that’s where the darker stuff is going ie deadpool.

Disney+, Hulu & Espn+ is $13 which is super good value

I think Disney+ launches next year for Europe. I don’t know if we can get Hulu and ESPN.
So it could be even cheaper.. 5.99 say...
until they raise it to 20 pounds a month, later that year...

Footage of the rise of skywalker was shown at D23 (exclusively unfortunately ) and it showed Rey in dark Sith robes dual wielding red lightsabers.

Probably the emperor showing her a vision or something trying to convert her to the dark side but sounds cool

but now the cynic in me is saying why would Disney reveal that in the trailer!
So, it's either a dream sequence, or that she is a 'Clone', and that's just another version of her.
which i don't mind either...

Show me Rey flying from one Star Destroyer to the next slicing them up with her double ended Maul-Sabre and I may become skeptical.
