I'm in. I'll do my bit. I'm on holiday at the moment and so the change didn't affect me, but fair is fair.

I will boycott the game in a show of support

NO, don't to boycott it. The team needs your vocal support. Just be late in showing your presence.

OK then, someone has to say it.

Sky spend a crazy amount of money every time they show a game. They'll be expected to pay upwards of £10 million per game, under the new deal.
The league owners and various fan groups have been more than happy with the equitable flood of cash. Any boycott short of handing the TV money back, is a bit two-faced.

You've missed the point completely.

We all understand that games are moved for the television, but in this case it's the fact that the game has been moved once all the away tickets had been sold and with just 23 days to go till the game.

Making all the plans put in place by travelling supports weeks ago, when the tickets came out, completely useless.

And they could still move the game again, if they felt like it.
I'm keeping my powder dry until we start having 11 p.m kickoffs to please the international markets.

We made our bed.

Things like this where fans are asked to miss 5 mins of the game always strike me as easy to say for people not going, but if you are spending your whole day to travel to and watch a 90 minute match its a lot to ask them to miss the start.

How about some original thinking. Off the top of my head I would suggest that ALL fans from both sides stay silent for 5 minutes instead. As soon as the stadium clock hits 5 minutes they all let out a roar which would really stand out on TV. Maybe they could take a normal piece of white A4 paper and hold it in front of them for the 5 mins. If thousands did this it would make a clear visual statement nd with the silence would be widely reported. And no one would have to miss any of the game.

And I just thought. There were loads of complaintes that thhe game wasnt going ro be televised, now there are complaints that it is.

23 days is ages to change your plans. People are acting like the match is tomorrow, get over it.

To make the away trip and I guess for a lot of Aresnal fans who travel in from elsewhere, cheaper people will make bookings the cheapest way possible and usually on non-refundable tickets and bookings. This could then be completely wasted when a change is made with only a few weeks before the game. With less time before the match making new arrangements is even more expensive.

Not everyone has vast amounts of disposable income.

Comments like that clearly come from someone who probably hasn't attended many games.
