Wasn't there some sort crowd funding organised to enable Le-Fondre to come back to Bolton? Or did I dream that up?

There was but they raised enough money to pay him for a day.

That was a quite dreadfful performance and they didn't deserve the result. Tactically it was simply idiotic and the team selection was just gormless. We just got lucky. Today has firmly convinced me that not all of this is down to our off-the-field problems. Our manager is an idiot. If we stay up it wil be a miracle and despite him.

It's a difficult one but I must admit when Rotherham drew level, I had big doubts aboout the team and thoughts that perhaps Lennon wasn't good enough.

Having said that Lennon can give the team as many instructions as to what he wants them to do but once they cross that white line, it's down to them.

Thank goodness he brought Woolery on although he should have done it earlier. The same could be said about Dobbie.

Rotherham should have won but they didn't take their chances. Heskey was dire, should just retire now. Lennon got the right balance more by luck in the end with his subs. Trotters passing improved the team and woolery up front gave the team a new dimension. The passage of play when the first sub trotter for heskey was ludicrous. Feeney on his own up front and mavies wide right! I really don't know what he was doing with that one.

Is torture self induced?
At the moment it is not the performance that matters, but the points. I don't know how we managed a win yesterday, but for now we are not bottom.
We have a few tough games coming up, so if Lennon can keep the squad motivated, then we have a chance of more points.
But in the meantime there is a court appointment due, and maybe that will give us all a hint at what may lie ahead.

Regarding team selection I think injuries aren't helping as we all know if he was fit Clough would start.

Also the balance in the team isnt all that great at the moment either. We only have 2 wingers in Welly and Feeny, Our best players seem to rotate between our central midfielders and we have a diminutive young striker.

I can kind of understand the Hesky selection on that basis as he should have the experience to do a ob for the team. That being said I wouldn't mind seeing Woolery and Clough up front together against Brighton and see what their pace and movement can do.

Hopefully Clough will be available soon. Can he make a difference? I sincerely hope so.
