big cuts again if we do go down and the threat of a deduction would remain should we take a deduction the day after the court date

posted on 13/2/16

I would sooner take the deduction, and hope for a new owner before the season ends

Gross incompetence by the board if bolton still have a transfer embargo in the summer. Eddie davies and brett Warburton very rich men but still the begging bowl is out with the un (trust) worthy.

If the deal doesn't happen this week I'd call it a day and go for a deduction Friday pm start work early on season.

Hope you all had a bet on the tip off I gave in my opening post.

i think the so called bidders are waiting for the court outcome, and see what assets will be left to buy, after the fire sale.

Clough and Woolery come on late. Not only that, Davies and Silva are the ones making way whilst Heskey stays on. Did Lennon not actually watch the game last week? Our off-field situation is a smokescreen for the fact that he is an incompetent idiot.

posted on 13/2/16

Not been today but seen enough to know this team as a unit is terrible defensively.

posted on 13/2/16

Silva made the 1st goal, he is probably the best playmaker we have ,yet doesn't last as long as Heskey
Lennon you admitted getting it wrong before, yet you do the same thing again and again Heskey scored yes !!
That doesn't mean Woolery would not have scored.
We must have better players than Heskey after he has played 70/80 mins let alone 90 mins
Decisions like that just infuriate me ,let alone the players.
The likes of Woolery,Clough,Danns must start before Heskey.imo.

1 bidder 1 week and over 3m to find its squeaky bum time for the board their feet are chilly as the prospect of a slap across the back of the legs with a ruler from the judge looms.

Only got the highlights to go off. Clearly the back 3 didn't work defensively again. Feeney had to score at 2-2. Got to take the big moments. Terrible mistake from mavies to give the game away. Only shows flashes of quality these days not the player he was. Got no chance of staying up with the bad defensive organisation and individual mistakes. Expect Lennon to see the season out and go. Need to make big changes in personnel too. Ship out the overpaid under performers in the summer. Build the new squad round Amos, holding, threlkald, vela, Clough, walker, woolery. The rest have to go for me.

posted on 14/2/16

I'd cross Amos from your list Benny along with most of the others who will have to go to keep the place afloat even with new owners we have to be the " trading club" we didn't manage to become since it was said. The divide is getting greater every year in football financials we can't sustain championship levels and L1 will be very tuff. Deep cuts all round to really slim it down to the bone and then start building from scratch with the few good younger ones we havn't seen yet.

They will all be gone. The only 2 I would want to keep are walker and holding but why would they want to stay?

posted on 14/2/16

Good list Isaac
I'm with Benny all will be gone no point trying to hold one back there is a huge wage bill reduction coming do the same in all other departments and we may be able to float by late summer. We have to focus and spend on producing our own from now on.

Stuck with dervite for another season . Going to cripple the club financially if most of those players can't be shifted out at the end of the season. Really don't understand why some players like dervite, moxey, trotter were given such long contracts in the first place.

wouldn't mind keeping wheater, if he can be persuaded to take a wage reduction

posted on 14/2/16

You know how we work the initial savings by letting the majority go will be used to pay up the remaining few.

not sure how accurate this table is, and outdated by about 12 month, but worth a look at wages
