When is the cut off for the top 16?

Can`t wait.

Ronnie obviously, 7/4 favourite, krap odds for the gamblers among us.

Ding is due a good run at Sheffield.

I think Robertson is favourite but we shall see what happens. Judd has had a poor season but can this be his moment? Let's all hope so!

Ronnie as always, he's clear for me, he won the Masters & Welsh Open, beating Robertson in the final, he's crushed Selby twice since Christmas, Trump isn't having the best season, but I'd put him along with Robertson as Ronnie's main rivals, would love a 6th for the main man...

Ronnie got owned by Michael Holt in the Grand Prix though so he's not that invincible! For me I would say Robertson, Selby and Murphy are the players to beat. Selby has been crap this season but you know he will raise his game in the World Championship especially as he hasn't been playing this week and won't be playing in the China Open either.

Owned by Michael Holt 😂 Arsenal.... That's Ronnie's only loss this calendar year.. Best of 7.. Straws grasping... BTW... your best chance of winning the title in years & you blow it again.... & Arsenal are my second team too.

Say this every tournament but depends what mindset he is in. Wasn't long ago he commented he wasn't looking forward to the 17 day gruel of Sheffield. About time Robbo won again, only done it once in 2010 I believe?

Not for me.. Ronnie all the way! I'd not Ronnie then I'd love to see Trump win..

Actually Ronnie has lost a few games this year in that Champions league thing as well? He also failed to qualify for the Germany Masters so that's already 3-4 defeats. If he played in every single tournament this season he would have lost a lot more matches as well. So I don't understand why everyone thinks he has a god given right to win every single tournament. It annoys me when people think Ronnie is bigger then the game of Snooker.

Allen v Walden in today's Players Championship final.

I'm just not convinced with Ronnie. It would be nice to see someone like Hawkins or Bingham come through the full schedule like we've had in recent years.

However, wouldn't a semis line up of Ronnie, Robbo, Trump and Higgins be quality?

Clearly Arsenal.. What annoys me is how I don't think you've ever given Ronnie any credit for any victory.. He's the best.. You make yourself look silly.

You cant read too much into best of 7 matches, upsets can and frequently do happen.

The crucible is the ultimate test, long matches and luck has more chance of evening itself out, the better players usually come through over longer matches.

Would love Ronnie to win it again, he`s great to watch. If not Ronnie then Trump.

Well said Billy, Arsenal just doesn't like Ronnie, if not Ronnie then, yes, I'd like to see Trump win

Wetherbyterrier what annoys me is that you're a typical Ronnie fanboy that believes Ronnie is bigger then the game of Snooker. In your eyes he can do no wrong and you treat him he's a god. It's like how some Indian Cricket fans were with Sachin Tendulkar!

Robbo out already?! More time to prepare for Sheffield then.

Selby pulled out of China also, some of them maybe want a rest and maximum time to prepare before Sheffield, I doubt Robertson will be too bothered about an early exit in China

I was always a massive Brian Lara fan... As for you downing Ronnie, he's won the Masters & Welsh Open for a 6th & 4th time respectively..
