Certainly getting there, pre-season there was a user on here who popped up on a few different threads, adamantly claiming that Kane wouldn't score more than 10 goals this season...

I asked last season if people would take him last summer for £30m. Many people on here laughed at the suggestion we should pay that much for him.
Bet they have changed their tune now.
World class? No. Not yet anyway. Scored a world class goal today but was also very selfish and wasteful especially first half.

In the first half he skinned Sakho twice but with time to think scuffed both shots and missed the target.
He is an intelligent player though, always thinking and trying to find angls from which to shoot hence he scores a lot of goals.I wouldnt say he is an amazing player, thats a NO form me.
The worldies do mask his poor overall play in games.

In the first half he skinned Sakho twice but with time to think scuffed both shots and missed the target.
He is an intelligent player though, always thinking and trying to find angls from which to shoot hence he scores a lot of goals.I wouldnt say he is an amazing player, thats a NO form me.

I agree. He often shoots when passing is the better option. Sometimes it comes off like against Arsenal but more often than not it doesn't
Did you say we should have bought him for that RDD or just ask the question, you know, to get peoples views.
Also apart from his hot streak in the league in the last 4 games his goal record from play was modest enough

It would be very difficult to buy him from levy I think.
Impressive since last season, not world class yet, but he certainly has the potential to be a world class striker at an early stage in his career.
His pace is not remarkable, but his instinct, work ethics, technique, holding the ball up, and intelligence make him one of the distinct best strikers in the League.
Some stamina: He is always running tirelessly through channels trying to find space to score goals.His contributions have no doubt significantly helped his team overachieve up to this stage of the season.
He's improving at a dramatic rate, fair play to the guy he obviously trains hard.

He is. I would love United to sign him in the summer. That isn't arrogance and I wouldn't expect him to come to us. But this is a lethal striker, who comes across as A very level headed and very decent bloke.
If, he would sign for us, then yes, I would take him in a heart beat. But I see no reason for him to leave Spurs and I really enjoyed that match

It was completely reasonable for people to have their reservations about him after last season.
In hindsight it was a gamble we should have taken, yes. But how many one season wonders do you see in this league every season? Jamie Vardy will be the next one, by the way.
Sometimes you have to take the gamble.
