Regardless of the follow on or not we had plenty of time to get 10 more wickets. You have to look at Sarfaraz and his use of the bowlers and lazy field placing.

we did and in hind sight its easy to judge I guess but this pak team is so negative in test cricket, very slow when batting even in this game when the opportunity is there with a close to 300 lead to smash Australia in a session of cricket we played as if were trying to survive, we could have easily had close to 2 days to bowl at them having close to a 500lead
A touch of green on the Abu Dhabi pitch .. if we can get past the first 25 overs with only one wicket down it’s a good start...

Watched a few overs in the morning, looked there was some bounce for Starc which is surprising for a UAE pitch.
Not sure how Lyon has managed 4 wickets in the 1st session, I'd probably put it down to poor batting.
A lot easier for batting now.... gotta feel that anything less than 350 and it’s advantage Australia
If that's the case then we need another 150 runs from this pair as I've got no hope in the tail to do much batting
