We have Craig Gordon in goal who is a big target to aim for, he oozes confidence and this will run through out the team. Will dominate his box and look to start quick counter attacks from the back.
Denayer will mark the striker, and van Dijk will be the ball player who will take it out of defence. Both comfortable on the ball and strong in the tackle. They will remain tight when we are under attack! The fullbacks can attack if they see fit, Tierney is especially good and supporting the winger so he will be up and down the pitch, Semedo will attack sporadically. When they do attack, get beyond the wingers and scream for the ball even if it is just a decoy for the wingers. Defend as a four, stay in a line and stay strong.
Wanyama is our defensive midfielder and McGregor is the playmaker a good combination once Wanyama has the ball won, a little pass sideways to McGregor who will look to pass it forward to the attacking players, both can tackle so dont let their midfield near our defence! Mcgregor likes to support the striker and AM so he will be making the late runs into the danger area.
Roberts and Ghezzal are very quick and can score spectacular goals, so we have given them freedom to attack the fullbacks, Roberts tends to cut inside whereas Ghezzal will go to the outside and cross in, Roberts can score from distance with accuracy so on they go.
We defend as a team, it isnt all about attack, so again a strong 4 in a line when we defend, two banks of 4 are always difficult to penetrate.
Locadia right in the centre is in a free role, he will support Vardy and get into dangerous positions, will link everything from midfield to attack and get Vardy into great spaces with his sublime passing. Will be a massive goal threat too. When we defend I want him to harrass the DM and not allow him any time on the ball.
Vardy is quick and good eye for goal, will look to link up quickly with Locadia as the two will be a big threat today hopefully. All about movement as the pair look to put away the chances to win this game. Always stays on the last man moving across the line.
