It had always been my view that Jackett was only here until a new manager was found and I presume and hope that has happened now. When Kenny didn't manage the team at Northampton nor do the press briefings afterwards I guess the writing was on the wall.

I can understand them not wanting Kenny leading the team out at Molineux today if he was not to be the manager going forward but to announce his departure at 11 on a Friday night seems a callous way to undertake business and an unfair way to get rid of someone that has done a good job for the club, is popular with the vast majority of supporters and has acted in a very dignified way when all this change was going on around him.

It is the right thing to change the manager at this time and a change from top to bottom was what I had always said I was hoping for. But this has been handled very poorly and raises questions about Fosun and the way they want to run the club, regardless of how much money they have

Cheers Kenny for sorting out the mess we were in and you would have done far better last season with more support from a certain scas git.
Time to move on.

At last the e&s get something right.

The headline says it all.

The E&S are talking bollox. They still feel loyalty to the old regime who they never asked any probing questions.

Kenny had chance to walk if he wanted the 'dignified' exit. The fact is, he didn't want to walk as he would have foregone any compensation. He waited this out even though, like the rest of us, he knew it was inevitable.

He is a nice guy, I wish him all the best and hope he finds a job at a good club; but I not feel sorry for him and nor should you or anyone.

I don't think it's been handled badly DJ, time is against Fosun since they arrived and so things are changing by the hour.

It's never nice when a manager gets sacked and Kenny was a gent which make it even worse, but Jeff shot him in the face at 11.15 pm on a Friday night, that tells me he's working around the clock to get thing right

As nice and dignified as Kenny is, could you see him managing the crop of players coming in ? Me neither !

Thanks again Keneth

This new regime is certainly making decisions!

KJ was perfect for the old masters of the club. He was polite, courteous, professional, and dignified - but most of all, he didn't make waves. It was clear he was never going to come close to replicating the Mick years, so a change was required.

I thank him for his dignity and personal manner, if not for the football.

He was always going to be gone the fact we tapped lopppy up before the take over was confirmed shows that...he hung around for a golden handshake which is his right to do so

I can't be sure.

He didn't announce himself or sign off.

Always been my view that Kenny would be gone as soon as someone else was signed up. Hope that is now the case and we aren't going to have the mess we had when McCarthy left

I think Silva looks like he would be a great appointment. Of the others we have been linked with I am unsure about AVB, Bruce would be a safe but unexciting appointment and I was a big fan of Martinez but he disappointed at Everton
