So at 62p a litre, you’ll effectively be getting 42mpg ish if it was a petrol with cost petrol taken into account and your mpg. . Not too bad for getting a v8.
Just been out car shopping with the old man. He’s getting an 18 plate XC90 for about 34k from a Volvo agent. It’s got the top specs and he’s part exchanging his 9 year old Range Rover for 13k. They’ve even thrown in free mapping of the engine to increase the BHP and torque. Bargain lads.
Went to Audi to see their A6 and they didn’t come close to matching the Volvo valuation for the Range Rover nor did they do any leeway for the prices. Their A6’s are 57k, absolutely stupid prices.

Missed your post before. That sounds like a very nice motor your old boy is getting. What output is after the remap?
So it’s a 2 litre 235 BHP which is now gonna go up to 285.
Torque is going up considerably too but I forgot the figure. Audi services are crap too, second agent we went to and we had to wait 20 mins for someone to come over.

Nice! It’s a big beast of a thing, nicely styled too.
Mate it’s a beautiful car, I love Volvo’s so much. Was lucky enough to drive a V60 last year for work and it was gorgeous inside. Audi can feck off.
XC90 is a lovely SUV. They have improved the shape unlike in the past when it looked like a old man car.
All Volvo’s have improved looks wise Kash, and they’re so powerful too. Their hybrid engines go up to 400 bhp at least, but the electric mileage is only 21 miles. That’s stupid.

Yeah, even the older model of saloon d60 is it? Hybrid cross and it’s 250+ brake, 0-60 in 5 ish seconds. Handles like shiiit though.
