As for the Syrian issue, I think Putin and Assad should be supported, not vilified.

I think HC is possibly the worst POTUS nominee in my lifetime. But Trump is arguably the worst in US history.
Both have questionable pasts/character, and neither would make a good president. It looks like even if Trump did get in, the Democrats will control Congress. So (as Obama has found out) implementing political mandate will be extremely difficult.
I watched newsnight last night and it appears that some of the electorate are so disenfranchised, (feel have hit rock bottom) they have nothing to lose by voting for Trump. Regardless of how bad he might be as a president. Scary times.

I saw Newsnight last night and it is a white working class thing in America, Uk and Europe now, leading to populist feelings.
We need to be careful genuine issues are not exploited by natzi elements.
But, there is genuine alienation among millions of white citizens, left behind, hence brexit, and the revolt against the global super capitalist elite across the States and Europe.

The Middle East is a region so different to the West we couldn't possibly help with intervention.
Look where it's got us so far. Leave them be in their archaic society.
Didn't Michael Moore say something similar? That Trump doesn't actually want to be president and he's trying to sabotage himself?

Hilary backed iiraq war, whereas Trump said the Usa left too early, allowing Isis to spawn.
Hilary is aggressive towards Russia, while Trump is more diplomatic with Putin.
It is not as wee expect on foreign policy.
Trump is called racist, but has black and asian voters and directly appeals to african americans to give him a chance to help them.
Hilary called black males super predator's, in relation to sexual violence.
Both are wrong un's, imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Trump also backed the Iraq War. Both of them, like the vast majority of Western politicians, got that one wrong.
And the elevated rhetoric against the Russian state is coming from all quarters now; governments and opposition parties across the West are rightly ratcheting up pressure on Putin over carpet bombing in Syria and support of the Assad regime. Trump is bang wrong on that one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pressure on Russia from hilary and the west....where does a no fly zone on russian jets go, other than attacking their jets?
Should we attack turkey for killing kurds, who are fighting isis for us?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Turkey is not barrel bombing civilian areas.
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-37625785
Putin is the biggest individual threat to global political stability today. I agree, as Clinton does, with you; there can't be a military solution to the problem. But he needs a much firmer hand, not appeasement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Syria and Assad used barrel bombs way before russia came in an assad backer, so the UN approach fails.
My concern would be hilary goin after russia in another middle east mess, nothing to do with us, as islamists and the leftists instruct all of the west.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True; but it is now Russian plans with Russian pilots dropping bunker-busting munitions on urban areas. Untargeted and devastating, and undoubtedly a war crime.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course it is a war crime, but same happens with our moves on Saddam, Gadaffi, and if we look around the wider region, war crimes by isis offshoots are at it from Africa, through the middle east, to pakistan and kabul.
It is not our mess anymore to be solved by us infidels, and decadent westerners, imo.
Look after this place first, as our interference, even for good, is used by islamists and the far left to attack us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i agree going to iraq and libya and getting rid of their leader no matter good or bad there were was none of our business or any other countries. after invading iraq and afghan and not finding any mass of destruction weapons you can see how far things have escalated since 2003. the blame will lie on uk and usa. all these suicide bomb attacks happening all around the world do you think none of this would happen if you did not disturb other countries. times are bad atm but will get even bad in the future
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Suicide bombers use western foreign policy errors, no doubt, but militant islamists have a stand alone agenda, led by hate preachers....bad cocktail of our flaws and their hate for infidels.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
u seem to be missing the point...pre 2003 or should i say pre 2001 how many suicide bombers would you hear about on news...now you hear about it every day almost
Trump is easily the bigger Clown. Hillary is calculating in every move she makes which brings it's own dangers. Anyone who takes money from Military Industrial Complex, Private prisons, Wall Street, cannot have the interests of people or peace at the forefront of their mind.
Hillary is extremely lucky that the GOP nominated the most unelectable person to ever run for one of the major parties. Any other Republican front runner(except maybe Ted Cruz) would easily beat her.

There’s also the issue of Trump’s tax returns. The public have no idea where there could be conflicts of interest.
Not 100% certain but surely if Trump becomes POTUS, he could be faced with having to implement/veto policy that would directly conflict, (or benefit) with his numerous business, and investment interests – both in the US, and abroad.

interesting video this. not saying trump is some kind of saviour but he's been saying the same thing for 40 years that he's saying now. His views on business and the economy are spot on. Hillary's not even saying the same things as 8 years ago when she was running against Obama, she's true politician a liar and a fraud. Even ignoring her nasty character she's made so many useless decisions, either she has shocking judgement or more sinister motives.

is it trump's fault for taking advantage of a loophole or should the loophole not exist in the first place? if someone can legally pay less tax but voluntarily decides to pay more that's just dumb imo.

My understanding is that there has been a pretty much universal economic view that Trump’s economic proposals would be disastrous?
I think the point is that by avoiding all these taxes it shows that he only has self interest an none in society.
Doesn't reflect well on the US if the president has no interest in his own society.

Trump didn't need to do this, if anything running for POTUS has hurt his wealth. A lot of sponsors and TV broadcasters have cut ties with him. Clinton's funded by the big banks, wall street, arms manufacturers, I'd be much more concerned about her.

I think there’s also an element of transparency. The longer he goes without releasing the information, the more speculation, and conspiracy theories have emerged.
Given he has not released his tax returns, (despite overwhelming pressure to do so) certainly suggests he is hiding something that may damage his campaign.
Nothing Trump says is spot on. I find it difficult to believe anybody can take him seriously, let alone that they could think he would be a good president.
