Arguing about who has the best songs is quite possibly one of the gayest things I've ever read. and I'm a subscriber to Attitude magazine

Hope United win as Liverpool are our only realistic challengers for the title this year.

We know Liverpool are Spurs fans second team they talk about us so much.

Chronic here are my answers to your wonderful questions

1. Is the Liverpool v man u fixture as good as the NLD?

It is way better. Even the merseyside derby is better

2. in this particular Liverpool v man u fixture, who do you want to win?

Liverpool of course

3. in this particular Liverpool v man u fixture, who do you think will win?

Liverpool 3-2

4. Who will come higher in the league, Liverpool or man u?

Liverpool

as a spectacle the NLD has been a quality fixture for a while now. Usually hugely entertaining and close run things. Certainly the atmosphere at WHL on NLD days is pretty full on.

This LFC v Utd could be one of the most meaningful ones for a while. Klopp has the crowd rev'd up and they play fast and on the front foot, and this gets the fans going. Jose will try and suck the life out of it, he hates an open game, so whether it is a good spectacle depends on United really.

I think Spurs' best interets are best served by a draw, not so much the points but the confidence that thw winner would take from such a game, could see them gain more momentum....best that neither team comes out of this feeling unstoppable. Can they both lose

I actually think it will be a draw. Utd will stay tight early on and try and take the sting out of LFC....you can just see the smash and grab from Utd, probably from a set piece, but LFC throwing everything at them, Utd will probably relent. 1-1, i think, late equaliser for LFC.

I think the result of this game could determine who comes higher overall, not because of the 3 points gained by the confidence it will give. Defeat to either team might well knock their confidence and put a few self doubts in their minds. Hard to say really, there's a long way to go.

So staying away from Chronic's net

I personally love the NLD, think it's a great game to sit back and enjoy without caring who wins, generally good games and have been some dramatic moments in recent years.

It's my favourite game outside of Liverpool games, that and I also like the manchester derby.

But no one can deny there is a massive gulf between the supporters in terms amount of songs they sing at games, in fact it's a big divide between the London clubs and everywhere else as far as my experience goes of going to games.

London clubs have no real good chants that are widley known bar West Ham's bubbles, I'm sure there are plenty of witty chants Arsenal and Spurs fasn have for each other but I wouldn't know one and I do like to listen out for these in games.

But the lieks of us, united and Newcastle have a far funnier and louder set of fans IMO, the proof is there on match days, not so much anymore but the dying atmosphere is a league wide issue, still say Anfiled or OT on a big night will generate more noise than any London club will.

I must admit I think Man United's chants are by far the best in the league.

Not saying this as a wind up but I don't remember any of Liverpool's chants standing out really, but I don't go to their games.

Liverpool fans just sing that 'Liiiiiiiverpooool' song on repeat, bookended by that Gerry and Pacemakers song. Great atmosphere......
At least us Spurs fans have the good grace to steal other teams good songs and make them our own.

To answer the questions seriously:

1 - No fan of any of the teams involved can be impartial. Although I personally would think that in recent years, an impartial observer would find more entertainment in the NLD, but please re-read my previous sentence to spot the obvious flaw in this logic.

2 - I want Utd to win, as Liverpool are better than them.

3 - I think it'll be a draw.

4 - I think Liverpool will finish higher.

Hey now, now need for the nasty 'doh' face. I think you misinterpreted my comment. I'm not saying you stole that song, I've no idea about the history of its use - doesn't concern me.

I'm saying that in order to create atmosphere, at Spurs we tend to steal other teams songs and change them to make them our own. It was an attempt at a little self deprecating humour....

Begrudgingly yes. With a big win you could go top tonight, and that frankly will not do.

It will do for me

But don't see it happening

I think you can win tonight, but maybe not by a big enough margin to go top. But I think a draw is the most likely outcome.

I've always found the nld has always had the best atmosphere and the best football played in their games

The Manchester Derby and Liverpool United games has never really entertained me as much as the nld. The Merseyside Derby might have good atmosphere but football wise it's a horrible game to watch. Same for the Tyne Wear Derby. Little football gets played with fouls taking up the majority of the game time.
