Spurs at the end of the season often counts for little though as every year under Pop (almost said Poch there LOL) he plays B teams in the final games unless we are struggling for playoffs.

Spurs have always been a unit so just one stand out individual like Kawhi has usually been enough for our system (timmy in the past, or TP when we beat the Cavs). Yet I do agree with you, I like to think LMA is the player to do this, especially considering I don't really think anyone in the GSW can effectively guard him.

Who knows though really, haven't followed NBA much the last two months so a little out the loop.

Haven't really watched much of Spurs, but their opposition scores are always low. Are they the most defensively sound team in NBA?
Watching games on weekdays is a joke due to timings

Jesus, Bulls beat them again away Butler in unreal form

damn, first seed to be knocked out early?

Bulls are apparently unstoppable when they play on TNT. Yesterday's game was on TNT. Math checks out.

Rockets on tonight and I have to miss it. Feck. Series can be over quick if we keep getting under Westbrook's skin.

If Beverly is on Westbrook like last game then Rockets have this wrapped. But I expect Westbrook to put on a show

Beverley is on Westbrook you are correct. Facing the guy who allegedly tore his ACL. Good mind games there.

Roberson is supposed to be guarding Harden but he's failing at that. If they can't get that to work, then I dunno man.

51-10-13 for Westbrook WTF

Only 4 turnovers, finished the game with +11.

Then let down by his team mates cos he can't play every minute of the game

Late response, but this is how Spurs have been throughout their career. Defensively sound, great system, but always one exceptional individual to push them through (normally on both sides of the floor).

From the Admiral, to TD, to Kawhi you have had a range of candidates who are as likely to win MVP as they are DPOTY.

Then chuck in some of the supporting cast, and how unreal their defensive contribution is (Bowen, Green, Rose etc)

Edin. Thunders are a joke of a team. The period in third quarter he went off, they just gave up. Ultimate one man team if I ever saw one.

I love westbrook and jeeeez the guy has no help at all. You gotta wonder why that is, when he had KD and Harden(although before Harden was known to become that good and they were all young). Guy shot 4-18 in the fourth quarter. less than 25%.

posted on 20/4/17

Westbrook 4-18 in the fourth quarter alone last night. Fecking hell...

17-43 for the night. Usage rate has to be close to the 50% with that kind of stats.

Big bottle from Pacers last night.

GSW coach Steve Kerr got some serious illness, looking to retire before season ends. Another title gone for GSW?

Na still favourites imo.

Rockets

LMA is not the LMA I was expecting.

Spurs have been playing very un-Spurs like this preseason. We will be lucky not to be swept in 5.

Isaiah and that is why he is the real MVP.

Fkin Westbrook

Good win for Celtics, Wizards just haven't got the mental strength.

Standard win for GS last night, can just play any style they want in any Quarter really, if they want to keep it tight and solid and play slightly conservative they do, if they want to just outscore they do.

Don't speak too soon mate, Celtics always froze at the Verizon Centre this year. See if the Wizards make it 2-2 first.

From a selfish POV I go to the US soon as the Wizards are the closest to Baltimore so would love to get to see them live.

Think IT has definitely given them some motivation and resilience though, two games running Wizards have put them under pressure and taken nice leads, and basically asked the question what have you got, and they've showed it both times. Same in the first match vs the Bulls too, going 2-0 down at home with Butler + Wade red hot, and they answered all the questions there.

Just think Celtics have got the one thing they needed in abundance now, should be good rest of the play offs, think Celtics will win one on the road though and win the series 4-1

first game I could not believe celtics one, looked like they could not keep wall or gortat out. Then celtics went crazy from three. quality games so far this year though

is that a good or bad thing anymore?

Dude was actually doing well against us in Game 2. If anything, this injury will spur them on to try and beat us this series.

TP missing means we have better defence tbh.

Nice to see the Wizards proving how strong they are at home
