Oh and the dynamic weather and operations is nothing- you are correct.....

2 points to add on the destruction front also .... there is more and there is also less.
There is more variety of destruction ie you can now blow proper holes in the ground and other objects rather than just buildings as it was in bad company 2.
There is less destruction on buildings however this was done because too often all the buildings in bad comany 2 got completely levelled making for a flat boring and non tactical map were you could see across the whole map with very little to no cover and damaged the gameplay of matches.

Im a massive fan of BF but by no means a fanboy, trust me I have had quite a few gripes with Dice and BF. In BF3 literally the day after purchasing premium i then had the spawn with no weapon glitch, meaning all i could do was run around spotting folk... no sidearm. no knife nothing !! This lasted for 3 months!! I had to complain several times and video it for me to get a refund was raging as all my friends were playing and i was left out. Iv thrown thousands of hours of gametime into the BF franchise and Im more than capable of talking about its downsides aswell as its ups.
Not suggesting that at all Mr Delboy. I think I'm in the same boat as you. Missed out on 4 totally as it was just 3.75 and I had had enough of free kills from op vehicles. Love in BF1 hiding in a bush or side of a building and watching a tank pass an inch from your nose. And I certainly didn't say it doesn't have it faults, just get wound up with hypocrisy and none arguement.
I know you weren't Simon, just addressing the ones out there that instantly assume "fanboy" I like that they have taken out the red dot on minimap when you fire your weapon only when you are spotted and spotting is far harder in BF1 (easier if your a scout) the vehicles are still OP, Having self repair vehicles is a huge no no for me they are also far too quick and manouverable for my liking, the planes take to much damage for me also considering they are made of canvas and wood.... I think the map design and infantry warfare is one of the best they have done however

My mate got it and says its excellent far better than 5 but I aint played it much so cant really comment, I aint played it but recently got Motorsport Manager on the laptop and actually really enjoying it, always been on the lookout for a decent racing manager sim and this seems the best for a fair wee while
actually I aint played Civ 6 at all !!
It seems to have got really good reviews and from what I've seen of it and read before release it sounded terrific. Hopefully I'll get a new laptop at some point and pick it up at the same point as the expansion packs are released.

I got my laptop about 6 years ago from PC Specialists, pretty high spec'd gaming laptop and Im looking for a new one now however as Im mainly a console player i think im just gonna do the budget thing and pick up a Lenovo gaming laptop for buttons (think i seen them on ebay for around £300 quid brand new) granted it might be a little slow but it will still run everything i need it to ... ie Football Manager !!

If you like 5 it's amazing. It does that Civ thing and destroys your time. It seems easier than others but still going through some balancing.
I would suggest watching quil18s play through, turned me into a much better player

I have ordered divinity thro amazon for the ps4..will be the game I batter thro Xmas with I reckon..hope it's as good as you have said!..I also agree that it hasn't been a particularly strong year for game releases

You will enjoy it if you give it a chance. I've had maybe 4 playthroughs on it if I combine both the initial release and then the enhanced edition.
