Mark Allen made some sense last night after the game saying he has the ability and he puts the practice in, he admitted he needs to lose weight to be able to compete.

5-3 Hawkins. What's the betting Selby comes back?

Selby misses his chance, Hawkins wins 6-3!

So glad he won't do the triple crown.

Ronnie will fancy his chances of winning the tournament

Yes, would also be good to see Ding do well

Just on way back from the snooker, Selby was so so bad today and still won 3 frames, Hawkins was alright but a better player or a on form Selby would have punished him. Ridiculous how poor Selby can b be sometimes, was lucky to win vs Williams tbf. Pretty average game all round.

Ronnie will have to improve massively to beat Fu atm even by his own admission. I'm a Ronnie fan but even I would love Fu to win tomorrow. Fu is playing so well and has been for a while now, deserves to win a big one. Saw him today funnily enough, nice guy

I think Fu might turn him over tomorrow but it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't play as well and Ronnie scrapped out a win. Should be an interesting match that's for sure.

Yeh a repeat of last year finals wouldn't surprise me & a repeat of the result. Be nice if Fu could do it though. Fu does tend to lose his bottle sometimes, happened vs ronnie last year when he should of won

Just looked at previous finals, the all-Asian final between Ding and Fu was in 2011! Didn't realise how long ago it actually was. Wonder if the viewings figures will be even higher if they both reach the final again this year?

Ding needs to get through tonight first. Hard for him, two evening matches on the trot before a potential final.

Perry, Ding or Hawkins in the final. Massive chance for all three of them.

Should be game over really. Can't see Ding coming back from this. Looks like his bad run in this venue continues!

After some final frame deciders in the first round, we've seen two 6-3 and a 6-2 quarter final result. Not close.

Perry hasn't made massive breaks in this match but he's confidently knocking the balls in the pockets now.

Ding has had starts in at least 3 frames but either ran out of position or missed and that's costed him dearly.
