Life expectancy in the UK is around 81/82 on average.
This compares favourably to most other European countries, and is in fact higher than Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Holland, Belgium.
So we are not a disgusting bunch, and are not less healthy than the rest of Europe, in terms of how long we might expect to live on average.
You dont have to be a gym bore, or a pokey faced park runner to be healthy.

When I was in uni I didn't see the fuss about the gym but then I signed up for a few months and bulked up quite a bit in terms of running. Was twattting the fack out of the treadmills. Gonna make it a new year resolution to go more in the weekends, I'm feeling a bit fat.
Well that's one way to stop mass debating.
Mr C!!! Find that page where you got someone with the mass debating trick. Sooo funny that.

No idea mate, I myself do about 4-5 miles a day on treadmills and it hasn't bothered me as such, but plenty of people say they're bad for your joints, I've never researched it tbh
I go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week to improve my sporting performance and to look good, but it is boring as hell. I only enjoy exercise when I'm playing sports.
As for the lifestyle choices of other adults, each to their own. As long as it's not impacting on the health of their kids or others and they're happen then I'm happy for them.
Only a very insecure person with a chip on their shoulder would be so judgemental as to condemn others for resisting the not-so-enticing lure of the squat rack...

What a witty retort. ๐.
Great idea it would help pay for the NHS and clean up bills on the streets. In fact, I would just punish the consumer - I would also have several layers of corporation tax based on the harm that businesses do - Jeez I've just thought of that. I'm a genius and should be in charge.
