Do I? Haha.

The England contingent are average to be fair, Lawes is OK but he is behind Launch, Itoje and Kruis for me. I don't hide the fact that I think Wood and Harrison are distinctly average to steal a phrase. Burrell us $hat.

Mate

The sooner Mr. Ed agrees with you and they all get back to playing club rugby, the happier I'll be. Suit me just proper, that would.

BTW, you forgot to mention Calum Clark____________

I like Hill, he has potential!

Clark pfft.

You can leave Hill, and Brookes for that matter, exactly where they are.

Laidlaw ruled out of whole 6 nations

Forecast this the other day. That is a bluddy huge loss for his kicking alone. Not the greatest captain we've ever had, I prefer Pyrgos or Price as scrum halves, but what a kicker. None better IMHO. Splits the posts pretty much every time.

Massive blow that for Scotland.

It might work out pretty well for you that mate.

Demus

If we can find a reliable jockey, yes it could do. Lets hope Russell is up to it.

A higher kicking % is nice but having a more dangerous attack is worth more if you ask me.

Far more entertaining too I might add.

posted on 16/2/17

Indeed Demus, I suppose you could take it right back to the Barnes or Andrew days.

I think we've been pretty entertaining of late so on balance I think I'd have wee Greig in the team. Points on the board are required.

Now Strauss is out for the duration.

Three key players out now. Comparatively, that it's a bit like England losing about a 8 or 9 definite starters.

All going wrong for Scotland

The man talks a lot of sense.

Makes some sense. Tennis for example has changed from the serve and volley and there's a lot more rallies and baseline play now. Football in more technical now than it used to be, formations have changed too. RU is very much the same game.

posted on 18/2/17

Not really the same mate. It's gone the way of serve and volley tennis if you like. Can you imagine guys like Phil Bennett, Mike Gibson or David Duckham even getting on the pitch these days.

Duncan Weir is small for a 10 these days, but he's exactly the same height and weight as Mighty Mouse Ian McLauchlin in his pomp.

For me rugby was a better spectacle back then.

Not sure either but it would need to be pretty radical.

Widen the pitch maybe, to create more space for runners.

A maximum total weight for any team.

Reduce the number of subs to encourage stamina training.

Ref the scrum so that technique will count over brute force.

All things for the people in power to sort out. Whether they will or not is another matter.

Wikipedia already saying it was suicide. If that is not correct, what sick bassa would post such a thing?

Dunno but the BBC have said no details of the death have been disclosed - which makes it sound slightly suspicious.
